BACK TO ITINERARY

Most Clients joining our Summer tours have a reasonable level of fitness and are in good health. During the trekking phase of our summer trips, we expect to walk about 10 km per day. We allow plenty of time to take in the magnificent surroundings and any other interesting finds along the way, so even though we'll be out for most of the day it shall be quite a leisurely pace.

Remember that most of our equipement, apart from what you need during the day, shall be ferried between campsites by boat. This leaves you to enjoy the trek without the emcumberance of heavy loads.

Very little experience of the outdoors, trekking or even camping is required. Our experienced leaders will always be on hand for any advice or tips regarding life in the Arctic. Our camps will usually be pitched before the main party gets in, and your sleeping bag is already laid out. All you need to do is arrive and enjoy the delicious meal being prepared - this may include the Trout you've been catching during the day!
